This is a rare and special E39, it is a BMW "individual" color Avus Blue Metallic. The Avus blue was only available standard on the M series cars, and had to be special ordered for this car!

The car is in excellent condition inside and out, runs perfect, and only has 47K miles!! Moonroof, Power seats with memory, OEM floor mats, always garaged, non smoker.

Options: Sport package, Xenon headlights, Heated seats, DSP premium sound, 6 Disc CD changer, Tinted windows

Upgrades:OEM Hella Celis LED tail lights (these are the exact OEM tail lights that are on the 2001-2003 model E39's.) OEM clear side markers. Euro leather armrest storage compartment.3M/Xpel clear bra kit on the front hood, fenders and bumpers. Tec Accessories cupholder! Front License plate delete strip, I also have the original license plate holding strip.

The car is in excellent condition, I am sad to see it go but my wife and are are planning for a family and the 6 speed is just not in the plans for us.

The interior is in great shape overall. The car is 7 years old, but only has 47K miles so there is not much wear at all.

I updated my original ad today because I forgot to include that the car has the DSP premium sound system option as well as the CD changer. I also updated the current mileage.

The car is in great condition. I have only the maintenance records since I have owned the car. I purchased it from an independent dealer, and they did not have any history on the car. You may be able to get a dealer service history with the VIN, but I have not looked into it. The car has never given me a reason to question its history.

I am the second owner according to Carfax.

Carfax report is clean and clear, no accidents or issues to report.

Clutch and suspension are fine. I dont drive the car hard at all, and more than half of the miles I've put on it have been freeway.

I bought the car from a dealer in Florida and had it shipped to me in So Cal. So i know what you are going through. It cost $995 to ship. I had the car inspected for me by a local BMWCCA member before I bought. I did not see the car in person before I purchased it either.

Its a company called Jay Phillips Transportation services. I just looked at the bill and it was only $950, not $995. it was an open carrier, closed carrier quotes were almost twice as much.
