So I ordered Depos with the Thinline halos from Understeer last week.
They got in on friday, and I didn't have any time to work on them till sunday.
I got one of the housings in before dark, and did the rest on monday.
Here is where the trouble began.
First, it took me awhile to figure out that the pins were oriented wrong. Oh well.
But no matter what I do, I can only get the halos and the drivers side bright to work. I cannot for the life of me figure out what is wrong.
I had to drive somewhere tuesday with only the halos and the fogs, and I pulled up behind a car only to notice the one of the halos already burnt out :mad:mad:mad:mad:mad
I tried unplugging the PnP harness and just putting the stock bulbs back in to make sure they still worked.... they don't.
So I went into the fuse box to make sure that the lowbeam fuse wasn't blown.... there is no fuse or even a place to plug in a fuse where the lowbeam fuse should be.

What should I do here?
I really need to get the headlights working.
Any suggestions?

the ring on that side may be broken which you should easily be able to see or you may have a bum ballast.
im guessing your low beams worked prior to the new headlights, yes?
if so check fuse #11 and 12 and post what you come up with.
more info would help too, what bulbs are you using, hids or halogen, did you inspect the bulbs etc.

Try to give a better description of what's wrong without the story element or the smilies. Might help with trying to understand what your problem is.

We had a guy into the dealership with the same problem - the halo burn out. he had a short in the headlight harness, it happened when he spliced into the power-source.

The Depo Gen IV pins are rotated 90 degrees on the connection on back of the headlight. Did you check that (rotated 90 degrees right compared to the diagram on understeers DIY)

Already did that. Everything is matched up.
I have gotten the each light to light up by touching the AE wire to it, so I know they work.

Before the halo burned out I noticed there was a spot on the bottom of it that didn't light up. It seems to have spread outwards from there.

Is there a map of the fusebox somewhere? Maybe I am looking at the wrong fuses.

right under the fuse box lid.

Mine just has a list of what fuse number each is. Where do I start the count from in the fuse box?

There's a diagram of the fusebox lay out with numbers. It should be on the same lid.

Thanks. I can't believe I didn't notice that map on there.
I replaced two of the four low beam fuses, and they work now.
But I still can't get both high beams to work. I replaced all three fuses for them.
Any ideas?
