Im so @#$% mad! Two nights ago, my covert got broken in. They slid my top to get in with a knife. My stereo is gone, along with my Ipod and two speakers. So mad!!


How can i fix the top? It was slid with knife about 8-10 inches. It is worth fixing or do I need to buy a new one? How much will it cost?

Get your insurance company to replace it with a new one.

not everyone has that coverage - especially on 13 year old cars.

AFAIK, thats not available, at least not here in the Northeast

But how did they get all that stuff out with "just" that slid in the roof?

Did your alarm go off?

If you have insurance they'll pay for a new top, and radio too, less $$ deductable amount.
--I'd get the TOP top estimate from a $tealer, get the check, and then shop for the new canvas.
If no insurance - sorry there's is no decent looking way to repair it, anything you do is going to look like a duct-tape patch.
