So if any of you have been reading in the Non-M E36 section you may know that my brothers boss had a '92 Alpina BMW for sale that was wrecked by a drunk driver this weekend. Now, I am curious if any of you would be interested in any of the salvagable parts. I myself am looking into taking the motor at a decent price (but if I fall through you guys may have a chance for the 2.8L alpina engine).

If your interested PLEASE post here, if enough people are interested I could start parting out this car for my brothers boss (saving me some money on the motor in the mean time :-) ) We all WIN!

This car has only 78,000km on the odometer. Plus, only around 90 of these cars where made for USA.

EDIT: Sorry I was thinking of the B8 V8 model here, there where more then 90 of these cars made (this is a B6 i believe)

why dont you put of pics of after the crash so people know what body parts are avaible. just a suggestion. but how much for that front lip/bumper?

I live an hour away from where this car is and haven't even been near the car since this weekend. Right now, I'm just seeing if there is interest in the Alpina parts. The car is still being looked at by the insurance and once i figure out what the boss gets from insurance I can let you guys know whats going to happen.

Once I know more details I will let you all know. Sorry but right now I just don't have any more info.

Well, I have like 4 thousand but I do need to save as much as possible for university next year... SO the cheaper it is, the happier I am. Not to sure if I want to get the rims though.. Haven't decided.

OK have a bit more info for you guys, rims are a little curb rashed. Interior is grey cloth (black leather covers ARE available if someone wants to buy them). Steering wheel and shifter are definately alpina.

Going to take pictures on Saturday because, "everyone is to busy to take pictures." So hopefully I will have those up Saturday night or Sunday morning.

Why would they be banned? I want to show up there and say that there are a few people interested, how should I know if people will want some Alpina parts? I've never seen them on here and what if I told this guy that I can sell parts and then have to go back to him and say I didn't sell anything? Thats only slightly embarrassing. But w/e

OK I finally have some real stuff to say on these thread. I went and looked at the car today and the damage is to the left (driver) side of the car. There is damage to the bumper, fender, and rear door. Left headlight and corner light got smashed up. The hood, lip (luckily), rims, and interior pieces are ALL fine. I will have pictures up tomorrow night to prove this (not going home tonight). Also, I found out the car is a 320i. Unfortonately the car came from asia so there was no VIN number for me to check. Cloth interior looks to be in great shape but the gauge cluster looked to be almost identical to my car (minor differences, probably due to it being from '92)

So if you where one of those people interested in parts you should be receiving pictures tomorrow night. Very sorry for this taking so long, I honestly thought I would have gotten this under way middle of this week already!

One more thing, they are still waiting for the insurance to finish up with the car so I can't 100% say that these parts will eventually be up for sale. I hope they will be, the motor looks SO clean.

If you are interested PLEASE post because this is still completely up to you guys, if I have nothing to go back with he (Matt, the boss) won't think it's worth it to part it out.

Of course, there is always the posibility of someone coming up to Lethbridge, Alberta, and buy the entire car ;) Tell them Jens sent you.
