Didin't find an answer in my search, but do you guys have a recommendation for quiet, low road noise tires for a convertable? With no top, I'm sensitive to possible road noise.

They are too bad while driving in a straight line, but the slightest bend in the road sends them into banshee mode. If you find something good, let us know. JH M3rocket 10-12-2007, 04:51 PM I've been happy with my Sumitomo's. My neighbor swears by Michelins. DoubleV 10-12-2007, 09:24 PM I've been very happy with Pirelli P-Zero M+S tires. toplessinokc 10-12-2007, 11:18 PM I have been happy with My B.F.Goodrich tires. I purchased mine at Sams Club. Also check the ratings at TireRack for noise. I have worked with them also and had good luck. amancuso 10-12-2007, 11:38 PM The quietest tires I've ever had on my 328 were the Continental Contitouring Contacts that came with it. After those I had some Dunlops and they were incredibly loud... I swear by Continentals on my e36. first time 10-14-2007, 11:19 PM Thanks for the tips. Amancuso, have also heard good things about Continentals. Need to balance $ and quality. Am committed to find the right set for a convertable and I will let you know. Forgot about Sam's. toplessinokc 10-14-2007, 11:21 PM I have had good luck so far with sams. I normally stay with my car and try to watch the work... killahe36 10-15-2007, 09:00 AM i have roadstone N3000 on my car and i can not complain about the noise.. very good grip.. great for cornering |
