i did not think I would even get this many replies...

RTAB= rear trailing arm bushing

One of the LOCAL specialists offered to do the job for $475 including a four wheel alignment. i might take him up on it. I will post again. if not I am planning on doing the work on Saturday 12th. I live in South City and yes will have Guiness:)

If I get them done we can have a stainless steel brake line and guiness day for the same date. Let me know who is interested to come over that day. I talked to an engineer (also from this board from Columbia MO) He said that he can do alignment in his own garage with some home made tools. Maybe I can convince him to come over and show us his trick as well.

Thanks again for all the interest.

Cenk

Hmmm, I thought I responded to this, but I guess not...

RTAB= rear trailing arm bushing

Hey Cenk
I've seen this done, but don't really have any experice myself. I know that you use a blow torch to get the old bushings out and need to use a press to get the new ones put in! It's not too difficult, but a lot of people don't have the press needed to finish the job.

I also live in South City and like to DRINK Guiness! So we have a lot in common :D

I'll be doing this to my ITA car soon and would be VERY interested in watching/helping!

Maybe I can convince him to come over and show us his trick as well.

I need a new alignment myself! I had a slight off road excusion in the last rally... Now there's an annoying vibration at certain speeds. Grrrrrr...

Let us know when you want to do this! Sounds like a good time!
