I am thinking about making a little touring trailer out of a parts touring. Anyone sitting around the office today with photoshop want to draw up a side shot for me? I think you take out the sunroofs and put in some cross members and sheet metal it in. Then you have to pick a spot either between the doors or halfway into the forward doors to chop it and then have a trailer shop put in some fold up doors.

In texas you see lots of pickup bed trailers, and in this vain, I would like to see the same. You keep the back hatches and rear window, and sheet metal everything else. With some matching wheels it might be pretty sweet.

anyone? Am I cracked? I know there's a parts touring in austin, but rigmaster has one too.

who's f**kin off today? Any photo wizbangers out there?

back later.

geoff

Maybe take the doors off and chop the car just ahead of the roof racks so you can use them? I can't find a good side shot.

Dude, I know,

but but but but

it could happen. If I had a near free tourer with a total'd front end.

can't you see it? no hood, both doors, all glass, lightend up hugely, stripped out...hell you could even make a little camper out of it.

WuHOO let's git after it :redspot

I've been wanting to make a trailer out of a saloon I have.. I moved and my parts car is sitting out in a field 60 miles away right now.

Dude, I have the tools if you ever want to turn your driver into an El Camino. I would be happy to use my vacation time to come down and give you a hand.:)

no no no

I am going to snag a junker touring, hopefully trashed in the front with a working tailgate, that you can work a torch on and weld a tongue and tow wheel jack onto and do some testing on high speed pulling before customization process begins. Basically want it to be as light as possible first, then I dunno

will need lots of beer

Seems as if you've already had your share:)

I was thinking(uh-oh), that would be kind of a sweet motorcycle trailer if done right. Especially if one had an R1200 to go with it, which I hope to be gettin' next spring....

There is an E30 guy who made a matching E30 trailer...good stuff.

Go for it, what's the worst that could happen?

That's what I''m talkin about! That is so fine. I love that! Got any links to bigger pictures?

Except for me it's not a pickup bed, but a covered tourer with the racks in place for long hauls over the road.

I'll host what ever photoshop'd pics you have, just email them to me.
