they just arrived today and the over all product looked good, stitching, material etc.. I go to install everything and the damn E-brake boot doesn't wanna stay seated to the console because the plastic that is supposed to hold it in is too long by about 1/2 inch which sucks. I go to put the shift boot on and the fit is all off. I can see some gap between the console and the boot. now my question is... why for 190 bucks for both, can't UUC get the product right with the OEM securing pieces for the shift boot and E-brake boot I mean for that amount of money I would expect perfect fitment. it seems like some little Chinese kid in a sweat shop made these things. the material seems good but the fitment just plain sucks. Sad to Say I'm pretty disappointed :help /Rant

I'm sure he will. I'm gonna try and get a refund. I was just expecting better quality for the price. like I said the material and stitching was great just poorly executed fitment. really looked like it was half assed made.

hey I'm just giving other members the opportunity to get some feedback before they think about spending the 190 bucks for the combo. I know I would be mad if someone didn't share their experience with me and it ended in disappointment when the product arrives... don't get me wrong everything I have purchased from UUC has been top notch, but this time I am disappointed. the boots don't fit anything like they show in the pictures.

Hey guys - I'll work with Rob to make sure this problem gets corrected. I'm guessing that maybe the OP received the wrong fitment. We make them for E36 and E46, and the frames are NOT interchangeable. It's possible that the wrong set was picked from stock.
Regarding the quality of the pieces, these are hand made in the US, and (currently) I'm PERSONALLY securing the fabric boots to the plastic frames. A great deal of time and care goes into each piece.
If anyone has questions about the quality of the boots, please contact me directly - ken @ bimmertools . com and I will work with you to resolve any issues.
For this particular case, I request that the original poster contact Rob at UUC directly - 908-874-9092. He will be able to direct you on how to handle replacement or refunding.
On behalf of my company and UUC, I apologize for the inconvenience, and for any concerns over quality.

I bought a shift boot recently from them. It seems definately looks home made at first glance. HOWEVER the material is thick, and the fitment is excellent in my situation. I wish they had an all black e-brake boot.

thanks Ken. I didn't mean for it sound so bad I was just kinda disappointed at the fact that they were on back order for like 2 months and when I finally received them they didn't fit like I was hoping. I probably received the ones for the E46, the shift boot seems too small and the E-brake boot seems too long so if that is in fact the case I would be more than happy to receive the correct boots... like I said the material and stitching seemed top notch but the frames were basically the short comings. that was basically my gripe. I will contact Rob and hopefully I will be able to get the right pieces. this is the first time I have ever had an issue with UUC. I have ordered plenty
of things from UUC and have been really impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. I will continue to order parts from UUC in the future, I wasn't aware of the different fitments from E36 To E46. sorry for the misconception
