Hi guys

I bought some 18" Rims for my 2002 Z3 2.5i but the tires are still 235... I wish to add a wider tire on the back. Does anybody knows what are the Max Size that fit on my Z3 without touching the suspension?

generally, you don't want to go much, if any wider than that on a 2.5, especially in the rear because it will greatly increase the ammount of understeer that you have to deal with.

in all reality you can go to a 275 width tire, but it would be absolutely useless.

Also remember, the size of your tires will depend on the size/width of your wheels AND how low your suspension is set up.

yes, you must tell us the width and offset of your wheels

245 is about the limit on the front, you can get 285 under the rear though on a 2.5 there's no need to exceed 245, all dependent on wheel size and offset
