View Full Version : Power Top MVPIRES 10-09-2007, 04:23 PM Can I unplug(disconnect) a power top some how and make it a manuel top and get out and put it down myself (like some 318) MParallel 10-09-2007, 04:59 PM No you can't. There's an emergency release for both motors BUT that's meant when to be used when the roof is down, it starts pooring and the electrics fails. You can't use it to drive with the too down as one motor is needed to keep the rooflid locked close. Why bother? Is your roof problematic? MVPIRES 10-09-2007, 05:45 PM Ya , its the tension straps I have to find someone who can fix tops in the Toronto area MParallel 10-09-2007, 07:08 PM You want to turn your roof to manual just because of worn tension straps?! Ho my! MVPIRES 10-09-2007, 07:44 PM I have no idea what to do to fix it and Im having a hard time finding a vert shop around here and everytime i go to put up the top it might not go up-sorry it goes up just the back flap wont come down so the roof sits on it wiseleo 10-09-2007, 10:51 PM Read the stickies... Bungee fix in particular. You don't need a vert shop. :) |
