Title says it all. Looking to spend $6000. Hoping to find something in great mechanical shape, but I'm really not worried about paint, wheels, worn seats, etc. Must be Manual transmission, and I obviously prefer a 540, but open to 528's also.

I'm in New England, specifically northern Rhode Island. No BS please, I have a close friend who is a BMW specialist that will be looking at the vehicel prior to purchase.
