Tip size: not sure -- will contact UUC a little later today and let you know for sure.

Difference between System U V2 and the TSE is that they're completely different exhaust designs. The System U V2 is a single-canister style exhaust that's a little bit louder and more aggressive while the TSE uses dual canisters and has a more civilized sound.

You'll need to e-mail me so I can tell you the discount. It's VERY good, though. :)

Ok, got an answer for ya: tip size for both DTM and Straight tips is 3 inches.

Just got off the phone with UUC:

"We've got good news & bad news: bad news is they aren't here right now, but the good news is that they're in transit." So, I'm told that the round tips will go out some time this week, maybe as soon as today.

What that means is that you can probably expect your orders to ship NEXT WEEK. ;)

All of you who have been waiting, you'll be getting a tracking number soon via e-mail.

Unfortunately, DTM tips are still 2-3 weeks off, but we MAY be able to work out another solution. I'm still waiting to hear back from Rob on it, so I can't make any promises. Those of you w/ DTM tips, I'll let you know.

I filled all but your's and another buyer's order today (and one DTM tip order); UUC ran out of exhausts filling the orders. Apparently "150 exhausts" means that they get them in chunks, and the next "chunk" is coming "soon," according to UUC.

I'm doing my best to get your exhaust to you, of that you can be assured. In the meantime, you are to let me know if you need ANYTHING.

Ok guys, we're looking at 2.5 weeks for more TSE's, minimum. I am not a happy camper, and I can't even imagine how you guys without exhausts feel.

So, for the three of you waiting, here are our options:

1. I can issue a refund immediately.
2. I can have UUC send you an original System U exhaust (which are in stock) and issue a refund of $20 (which is quite a large discount over the MSRP for the System U) for your trouble.
3. I can find another UUC distributor and have them send you your exhaust at my extra expense.

Please e-mail me or call me directly and let me know what you'd like me to do.

Well, I'm in for the long haul. I really want the TSE. So I'm in for the long wait. I just waited a month for a UUC spoiler, and it was worth it soooo.

Mike: It's not the end of the world. You'll probably be fine and no harm will come to your car or exhaust, but since they ARE cheap, I'd replace it. Basically, don't lose any sleep over it.

Micah prectically bent over backwards to get me one,.. i had the tse on order but just couldnt wait. i had a hugeee hole on my exhaust. but i got it on and i practically wet my pants when it started up,.. Hey, I was doing some math. Let’s just imagine this was 1999. If I had put the money I paid for the TSE into a mutual fund I would have enough for the TSE and a AA Track pipe by now. It's been that freakin long.

I have had enough time to break out a wire brush, cutting torch and metal polish and convert my OEM exhaust into a TSE.

Back when I ordered I was trying to hide the order from my wife. That plan has backfired, for one I have forgotten the lie I was going to tell and two we will both be surprised when it does comes.

My friends that I told that I was getting a TSE, have long since dismissed that as a lie.

I am starting to prepare myself for the fact that it may never come?

The movie Matrix reloaded was not released when I ordered my TSE.

The movie the Hulk was still yet to be released.

Harry potters book was not out.

Summer had not started.

Sammy Sosa had not done the cork thing yet.

The PICS of the new V10 M5 where not in autoweek.

The 24hrs of Lemans had not been run.

Montoya had not won his first race this year.

Mrs. Clintons book was not out yet.

other guys have 1200 miles plus on their TSE's.

Some guys have started to clean rust off theirs.

Enron was still a reputable company.

I could go on and on, It's been a long freakin time. this is my proposal, all you guys that have your TSE's in a show of solidarity CUT yours off and lets march on the UUC parking lot. The million TSE march!!!

Damn Tank.. Im in on the Million TSE march!!! One thing that might make you feel better.. When you get the exhaust, they include the BIG uuc sticker. That sticker alone gave me an extra 2 tenths off my 1/4 mile time. I have serveral smaller uuc stickers but they dont even register on the butt dyno.

Would it help if I made you a sound file of how my exhaust sounds now? It has really changed alot, I am at 1600 miles and it has a new agressive sound when you start it up now. Could the soot coated on the inside be changing the sound? Anyway, when I first installed it, it would rattle my seat belt adjusters at 3k rpm.. now it doesnt so I know it isnt me just getting use to the sound.

It is a different company... not Micah (unfortunately :( ). UPMotorsports had a GB on them. Paid over a month ago... no goods. Called to see where it is, no record of sale. But they did charge me CC. Now I can't get through to them on the phone.

The price was too good to pass up... otherwise I would have just bought it via Micah.
