I've purchased a car from Ft. Lauderdale that was completely misrepresented. Upon arrival I found that the transmission doesn't work (auto) and that the odometer is frozen and based on the condition of the car, has been that way for years. I'd like to find a lawyer in the Ft. Lauderdale area that can represent me and help me to sift through this situation. The seller says that he was selling it for a friend, and that he doesn't know where that friend went after he sent the money from the sale.

Any help/recommendations are appreciated.
