I just wonder if everyone who bought the new M3 is glad they did. If you had to do it over again; would you wait or buy another car?

I've waited almost a year for my car....and I still think it is absolutely the best choice I'd ever made. Getting looks from other envies drivers is what makes it so darn good. :)

I think I'll skip this model and go for the next (E90) in a few years.. but those PTG cars look SOOO good! :)

Those E90 suppose to be out in 2004...that is just 3 years from now. By that time I will be ready for a new car. :D

Did they bump up the production date?
I was also told that the new M3 will be released in 2006 with a V8.

It might well be 2006. I was recalling it from the article I read. Either the V10 m5 in 2004 and v8 m3 in 2006 or the other way around.

nobody ever talks about the extra leg room in the E46. But this E36 pretzle wishes you the best enjoy the comfort factor...and those 333 ponies.

You probably missed a speculative magazine article about future BMW models which even BMW probably haven't confirmed yet :)

The next 3 series, which apparently will be called E90, is due to be released in 2004 but the M3 version of it probably won't be out until a couple of years after that, so, around 2006.

Anyway, the type of engine in the next gen M3 (I6 or V8) and M5 (V8 or V10) is a long way from being decided. It really annoys me when magazines trot out speculative bull like that as if it was fact.

Michael.
