I just wonder if everyone who bought the new M3 is glad they did. If you had to do it over again; would you wait or buy another car?

View Full Version : Everyone glad they bought the E46 M3? Bob ///M3 07-16-2001, 11:47 PM I just wonder if everyone who bought the new M3 is glad they did. If you had to do it over again; would you wait or buy another car? Bob ///M3 hotbimmer 07-24-2001, 05:04 PM I've waited almost a year for my car....and I still think it is absolutely the best choice I'd ever made. Getting looks from other envies drivers is what makes it so darn good. :) Bob ///M3 07-24-2001, 09:14 PM Fantastic! I'm glad to hear that... Enjoy! Bob ///M3 EuroKRN 07-31-2001, 12:45 AM I think I'll skip this model and go for the next (E90) in a few years.. but those PTG cars look SOOO good! :) e46driver 08-01-2001, 02:46 PM Those E90 suppose to be out in 2004...that is just 3 years from now. By that time I will be ready for a new car. :D EuroKRN 08-01-2001, 03:29 PM Originally posted by e46driver Those E90 suppose to be out in 2004...that is just 3 years from now. I thought they weren't coming until 2006... damn, better start saving now. :D hotbimmer 08-01-2001, 03:33 PM e46driver Did they bump up the production date? I was also told that the new M3 will be released in 2006 with a V8. e46driver 08-01-2001, 05:11 PM It might well be 2006. I was recalling it from the article I read. Either the V10 m5 in 2004 and v8 m3 in 2006 or the other way around. bimmermeupscotti 08-05-2001, 03:06 PM nobody ever talks about the extra leg room in the E46. But this E36 pretzle wishes you the best enjoy the comfort factor...and those 333 ponies. ///m32001 08-14-2001, 01:55 AM Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! themadhatter 09-02-2001, 02:50 PM E90?? what did I miss? michaelab 09-04-2001, 01:25 PM Originally posted by themadhatter E90?? what did I miss? You probably missed a speculative magazine article about future BMW models which even BMW probably haven't confirmed yet :) The next 3 series, which apparently will be called E90, is due to be released in 2004 but the M3 version of it probably won't be out until a couple of years after that, so, around 2006. Anyway, the type of engine in the next gen M3 (I6 or V8) and M5 (V8 or V10) is a long way from being decided. It really annoys me when magazines trot out speculative bull like that as if it was fact.
