Anybody know of any cool places to take pictures of your car?

Not any terribly good spots that I can think of off the top of my head, but if I think of one I will let you know!

the only decent one I've found is the 1st national bank building with all the flags and the globe statue. Thats pretty cool for night shots (can't take any during the day). There is also a parking garage right up east on california st (I think thats what it is) in that area thats good for night shots.

My top secret spot is mandan park (south of 13th & L), its fall now and all the trees are turning colors. It's just a couple of S bends and very bumpy pot holey roads, make sure you use the North entrance and don't try to leave from the south, just turn around and go back out north. I haven't even used this one yet with a bmw aside from camera testing.

Be careful what time of day you go however or you may get buttraped.

Theres quite a few good ones in the downtown area also.

You could always drive you car to the black hills and take pictures of it there :)

Indeed it is one hell of a trip :D

Maybe we can get some people together with their beaters (er, bimmers) and have a photoshoot within the next month or so.

wife beaters?

Old Market back streets are pretty cool, the industrial area by the airport, Dundee and yeah, Valmont Plaza is cool too.

My family manages the airport down here. All turf and open vistas for about 2 miles. Wicked sunset shots.

Somebody mentioned my neighborhood of Dundee. There is a lot of good 1920's architecture here. You just need to find one of the quieter residential streets. And in one of the lesser known parts of town, ie. up north, I once took some great pictures of my 2002 with the Miller Park golf course as a backdrop.

Oh mang! Thats a trip for a nightly hangout, but it'd be a good place to meet up and hang out during the summer and run the cars once a month or so.

I have been talking to my father, who is also on the Airport Authority board, as is my grandfather, and following elections this years, myself as well. They seem receptive to the idea.

after the pavement is down i don't see any reason why not...;) might generate a little revenue for the facility, and there is a winery/microbrewery here too.
