Hi
Im new to this forum so here goes...
I just bought a 94 bmw 318ic, downside...4 cyl motor + no leather

so i found a guy selling a full lether interior from a 94 325is. Im wondering if the seats and door panels could be swapped easily without heavy modifications.

Any help would be great

Thanks

the seats and front door panels will fit fine. the back seats and panels will not fit at all.

the plugs (if your car has them) for seat heating and power will also match up perfectly.

if you car currently has manual seats, and the new seats are powered, you will not be able to adjust the new seats in your car. i would pass on them if this is the case. try it and see if it works. your car should have the plugs, but you might have some pins missing for the power adjustments.

Also if the donor car has no passenger airbag and your car does (although I think all USA car heva a passenger airbag) the other seat won't have an occupany sensor mat.

Since both are from 1994, pre-tensioners won't be an issue as both will have the older mechanical ones.

I found a full set (front and rear) at Bavarian Auto Recyclers in Rancho Cordova CA- I called every month or so for over a year, but it paid off. Don't know if you have a bmw yard nearby, or what the frewight would be if they found a match for you but it's worth a call. I think they're a sponsor of BF.C

all e36 convertible backseats are the same cut - just different colors & materials.

coupe and sedan rear seats will not fit into a convertible - not even close.

You only need to have a +12v and -12v wire going to the seat to power it. That's all.
