View Full Version : ARGGHHH SSR GT3 and Brembo dont mix!! SJJ28 03-20-2003, 08:34 PM I put my front Brembo GranTurismo Kit on today, and the 19" SSR GT3's won't clear it. They dont clear by almost 1/2 inch, and a spacer that large would put the wheel out too far. Apparently BMW engineers went through a great deal of trouble to put the perfect slip angle setup on our cars and by introducing spacers into the mix it throws somethings off. Granted... a 10mm spacer isn't going to end the world, but if BMW went through all the trouble to make at least something perfect (don't know why they choose the slip angle instead of something more substantial), I might as well leave it the way it is. The other M3 either has just the caliper upgrade, and not the larger rotor and hub, or is running 15mm spacers, or he butchered the rear of his wheel. Message him on this board and ask him what he did to get them to fit.
