I am considering buying some angel eyes for my E46 coupe, but from what I have seen the install looks to be beyond my level of comfort. Is there anyone in or around the Boulder area with experiance installing these that would like to help me for some extra cash?

I've thought about if for the M Coupe. Baking my headlights makes me a little nervious, but if you want to try to do it together I'll get the parts.

You don't need to bake the headlights on the E46 - I've done it on my M3 and my 330ci headlights were identical, from what I can recall.

If you have questions I'd be happy to answer them, but I don't have time to do the install. PM me.

if you guys want, i think umnitza sells headlights with the angel eyes already in them... i know that you guys probably dont want to spend the money on brand new headlights, but it was just an option. i bought some for my e36 m3 and i love them!!!! just puttin it out there.

I saw a Laguna Seca Blue M3 (blonde female driver) in Louisville yesterday, stock rims and no other mods. I haven't been in Boulder in a few weeks, so it probably wasn't me. I've got angel eyes, a track graphic on the left side of the window, and brake duct thingies...

On topic, did the OP ever do the install?

Try contacting NielsE46M3...IDK if he is on bimmerforums, but he is on M3forum.net I know he helped my friend w/ his and has installed them on his car on his own.

That might have been it. There's a LSB E46 I see around town often.

I wish I had it as easy as you guys installing them. I have to bake my lights, take them apart, install projectors (might as well if I'm taking my lights apart) and angel eyes w/ ballasts. Raz3 I'll let you know when I get all my parts together.

Yeah pretty much each time I head up to Boulder I have seen a LSB E46 M3 w/ a female driver driving it.

Thanks. I got them from Umnitza for about $200. I believe there is a version for the E36 as well.

No worries man. The look great!

I got mine out and fitted the projectors to see if they worked yesterday. It will be somewhat of a daunting task I think as I have to bake my headlights, open them up, mount the projectors and DDE's, put them back together, wire the DDE's and install the ballasts and igniters and then aim them. I also want to wet sand all the pits out of my headlight covers. I'm thinking it will be a more than one day job.
