the rims I've been told are possible one offs actually. The are very deep dish 19's. and right now Ahmed I traveling back and forth nearly twice a month between Colorado and UAE the 8 series is here with me in the UAE now. Also Ahmed I hope you dont get upset but I bought a set of 19 inch Hartge Classics today... staggered as well. haha.

It's a nice car. I was told that these cars are cheap in UAE and parts too,is that right?

Parts or not...The gas certainly is cheap there. LOL.

Yeah they actually a bit cheaper than US, not a steal if your looking for a low mileage one, but never the less it is little cheaper to get a low mileage, since they are from Japan and in Japan you will never see higher mileage cars, thats were I guess you can save money on it. But I will tell you what sucks down here, it is the lack of parts. and their prices are sky high OEM only, I spent 400.00 USD for a damn bumper light. and have to wait 7 days for the "fastest" DHL shipping method which costs extra. haha.

oh and premium fuel runs about 1.71 USD ahahahaha This is why I can have a V12 here. ;) Not that it was really part of my decision making process though. I would have one in the US if I had a chance.

No No, this is Dubai. Labor is soooo cheap you don't do anything yourself. haha. They even pump the gas for you here. lol

This bumper light is Euro 200,- in Germany. Convert this to US$, add your "high speed" postage to it and you'll see that the price is quite equal to what we pay here in Germany. Seems to me that prices for E31 specific parts are sky high ANYWHERE.
Can anyone explain to me why BMW dealers are sometimes called stealers? :):):)

Hi SE7EN40RTY,

next time you need to order a part from Germany you can check the price (excludes 19% German VAT) right here online

I hope for you that you don't need it too often :stickoutt

Nice car indeed. In fact, it looks pretty much like the image I have in my mind for my car. Black, with deep dish parallels. Which are not one-offs unfortunately (well, fortunately for me!), I'm waiting for a set myself. But they are hard to find, and I'm waiting for a delivery, and it's not 100% certain. This is what they look like on an M5. If you're selling yours I'd be interested, since now you have the lovely Hartge's :)

who makes those rims? They look great and I'd love to have a set for my wife's E34 535i
