OK so get this guys I'm at the work shop discussing my exhaust questions and then he mentions I need a new brake master cylinder. I asked if a rebuild was at all possible he says not that he is aware of. So I'm like damn that sucks. So... I'm like ok order the parts. he said ok it will be 15 days!!!! Because there cars are so rare they have to special order it from Germany.

I'm like ok I'll pay for overnight no problem. He says there is no over night the fastest is maybe maybe 7 days. Well I start arguing with him how we can get over night in the US and how I'm renting a car to make up for my 850i in shop. I get pissed and leave angry. I end up going to AGMC which is the sole BMW dealership here in Dubai... If any BMW parts are coming in it's coming through them. So i go to confirm about this whole shipping thing.The dealership states they can get it in maybe 6 days.... I order it and 800.00 USD plus another 100.00 for "faster" DHL shipping. I'm like ah man this sucks....

So I'm going home driving some what happy because I was able to order the part. But then what do I see.... right in a industrial area... a lot of half-cuts. so I'm just admiring all these cars and seeing if I could figure out what they were originally. I'm really good at it by the way. haha. I found a 850i!!!!!! a bust out laughing all by myself. and bust a U-turn. I walk into the store and ask how much. They say it's not for sale, it's already been sold. I'm like damn to who????? they are like another shop. I said ok what shop? They say they don't know and give me the run around. I pull out some cash and they give me a price.... minutes later I'm having it fork lifted on to a tow truck :) hahahaha.

I'm so happy. it has 15,000km!!!!! though my car only has 55,000km now I might turbo charge the other extra engine so the car never has to stay away for more than a couple of days. The only part I need is the brake master cylinder lol. It's the complete frond end including dash all electronics, suspensions, and body work. But the body work is rough. the engine is mint though. If you guy need anything let me know. It's in Dubai but I'm sure shipping is a possibility for the smaller parts. Oh and I went back the dealership and canceled my order. ;) Expect pictures tomorrow.

Is the steering wheel on the right side? I 've been there before and lots of these half-cuts come from japan? it is crazy. this is why i mentioned before that parts are cheap. I wish i can get a whole front end like that . I have another 97 840ci that i bought for parts but the car needs all the parts for the front end. i might want to fix it and convert it into a cabriolet. it will be fun to drive an 8 series convertible at summer time here in the midwest.

It is left hand drive actually. No this is the only half cut in the UAE, to my knowledge because these cars are so rare. There are a lot of half cuts here of other vehicles though. If you need the head light assemblys please do let me know they are in perfect condition, and are not a part I will need.
