I've decided that my 4.6is is not what I really want. I am willing to do a quick sale for it. Local sale only. I would rather the person come out and take a look at it since my digital camera is packed away. I just moved recently. People that know me though, know I do not b.s. - and that my vehicles you could eat off the engine bays.
It currently has 59.8K on it. Inspection II was just completed at 59.5K. It has 4 brand new tires (on 20" rims - OEM). Let me tell you, those 315 rears are not cheap. They are high-performance Bridgestones. I will also give you the brand new snow tires and rims that I just bought -- they are on OEM 18" wheels since I have no need for it.
It is black on black and virtually spotless. It has all of the options available for that year -- including the rear pull out cargo tray, rear window shades, PDC, and even the rare tow package, etc. I believe all of them came fairly loaded with NAV, Cold weather, premium, h/k system, etc. You could only get a few options like 20" wheels, sunshades, etc. The car looks immaculate including the inside. I've listed it locally and reserve right to sell at anytime to first person that gives me cash. No modifications. I get between 17.2-18.1 mpg with mixed highway/city. I am sure if you stomped on throttle you would get around 12-14 though.
I am willing to sell for trade-in price -- $27K (that is what carmax offered me and I have their print-out for verification). BMW of Fairfax offered me $27K for trade-in as well when I thought about trading it for an E60 so I do not need the vehicle if you wonder why I am selling. I just decided to buy the E60 outright rather than do a trade-in. Plus, I am having an E39 delivered this weekend which I will use as a daily driver. Some of you may know, I also have a pcar for fun, M3 for the race car, and a Lexus ES350 for the plush ride - so, I do not need to sell or need the $$, e.g., I am not desperate and do not waste my time asking if I am negotiable: I am not. I just do not see the need for the X5 at this point. If I need it in the future, I'll probably just get the X6.
You will not find a better deal: I guarantee you that. Do not B.S. me by telling me it is worth $20K, or you only have $21K. My price is firm because it is an incredible price -- if you do not think so, feel free to disagree.
I also have a Warrantech highest level warranty that covers it for the next 3 years/up to 110K. So, you have 3 years or 50K more miles. If you want that, you must pay an add'l $3700 since that would be my refund. I bought it for $4105 from BMW of Fairfax. BMW of Fairfax accepts Warrantech and highly recommends it -- you only pay the deductible. My deductible is $100.00.
So, for $30,700 - it would be a screaming deal with everything I am including. Most people are asking mid-30's at least from a private party without a warranty or snow tires, and dealerships are asking high-30's to low-40's. In fact, Passport BMW has the exact car for sale for $44,900.
I believe it should sell quick -- so, please call me at two zero two, three two zero, three eight two one.
Thanks,
James
