Hi All,

I have just test drove a Z4 3.0 last night. Have decided to lease it, however, i do not have an ideal payment price right now. Can you experienced ppl give me some suggestion?

I tried to build my dream car on bmwusa website. Chose my downpayment and my payment terms. It gives me $533/month +tax for 36 months.

Does the website calculate a good price or a rip off price? My salesperson offered me $5000 drive off (includes 1st payment), and $580 include tax for 35 months.

^_^

Again, if there are any suggestion on this deal, please feel free to let me know.

Thanks

When I was looking at M3's way back when I noticed the BMW price online was quite high.

Go to edmunds.com and find the Lease specialist that advertises on there. See what they can do for you on the Z4. Chances are they will be less than BMW financial unless there are some incentives out there right now (which I doubt).

Good luck.

Your dealer is charging you too much. The BMW USA site generally works off MSRP prices and the current residuals, but does not include taxes.

I would not tell him you checked out the BMW USA site, I would go to another dealer, and get a quote.

Z4's aren't selling like hot cakes just yet, so you should be able to get a decent deal out there, although LA is likely a different market than here in NJ, for a Vert.

The residuals are pretty high, it's a new model, and it's a BMW. My dealer (admittedly I have a good insider deal going cuz I know the GM and owner, quoted me this back in December):

Z4 3.0 with options:
Metallic paint
Convenience package
Premium package
Sport package
Heated seats
Xenon Beams

MSRP- $46,170
Invoice- $42,235
(Includes $695 Destination charge)
Difference- $4475

With $4000 off MSRP ($475 over invoice):
36 mos lease with 10K miles a year-
$0 down = $569/mos + tax
$2500 down = $493/mos + tax

Welcome to BimmerForums, and Good Luck!! :buttrock

I've seen Z4 2.5 lease deals

$299/month
~$3000 or so down

I think it was a 39 month lease. I don't know any more specific details.

Bottom line, you can get better lease deals than are listed on the BMW website.

absolutely no way in HELL will you get a Z4 for $4k off List. Contrary to some opinion they are selling quite well, better than the Z3. There was a buildup during the winter on some lots, mostly Steptronic tranny models, but the prices are heading back up with Spring rolling in.

Best you can probably do is $2,000 off List and the longer you wait the less likely you'll be to get it. IMO you need to shop around, that deal doesn't strike me as being the best you can probably get

Team, I ain't lying, but like I said, I have a bit of an insider's deal at my dealer, I've known the GM for almost 18 yrs now, and the owner was a patient of my father's (my Dad performed surgery on him back in the 70's) and they are old buddies...
