I got a Ticket today for what he said Rolling through a stop sign,
was a state Trooper, Guys he is soo full of BS.. I knew he was there and Stoped conpletly because i knew he was there. I wrote a whole thing on it in the Genral Section under "ticket for no reason" but it was a 4 pt Ticket at $41.00 mail it in for 2 crap. Court is in Castle Rock on Dec 20th,

should i fight it? im atucally not guilty on this but i dont know the courts in Castle Rock. i just got another 4 pt ticket the other day in a School Zone also.. :mad the cop said i did a inproper turn.. he was actually right on that one :shifty.. but those are the only tickets in the past year that i have gotten..

what should i do ?

I would consider a traffic lawyer. If you go in there with your word against his you'll never win. It'll be pricey, but not as pricey as 8 points on your insurance premuim.

I had the same thing, did a slow roll thru the stop sign. He was in the bushes and I didn't see him until halfway thru the stop intersection. 4pt ticket, went to court and the DA dropped it to a 1pt defective vehicle. I didn't even have to plead my case. He looked at my file and said, How bout you plead guilty and we drop it to a 1pt defective vehicle and you just pay the fine. I was like sure!:D That was in Littleton though, I don't know how castle rock is.

Oh yea, we are going to the last day of test and tune at bandimere next wednesday the 10th. You wanna go and see how your TS runs? I haven't ran my car yet and I want to get a mph before the season is over.

what up alfa! i was the white m3 you met the other day! sucks about the ticket man, i agree with you though, no point in spending big $$ to fight it, and if you don't win, then you'll be stuck with the full 4pts...that would suck. I got an 8 point reckless driving in 2005 for doing a burn out, and i just had to take the plea at 4 point speeding. cops suck, they always ruin the fun :)

but dude, wait.....there is a test and tune this next wednesday? i'm there, what time? i'd love to see what my car does in the 1/4! how much is it to participate?

Yea guys im soo there, i already told my wife on racing on the 10th, i think its something like 30.00 for the racer and 15 or so for people watching, but i dont know, we need someone to bring a CamCorder!! i dont have one that works very well, but we need to get some VidS!!

i would fight it and try to avoid those points. Just because I got three tickets between the ages of 18-21 I got a license suspension and now have to carry an SR22 on my insurance file.

even though I don't have a car right now, I have to pay $400 every 6 months just to have that SR22 active until three years pass. Traffic cops are such a joke, do whatever you can to get out of the ticket & you'll save yourself future headache.

Hey...TheVic and Jason...And Elusve..Are you guys coming? If so you should stop by the local Sherriffs Department and they will give you 10 admission tickets for free that are good to either Spectate or Race. Just a heads up...This is what all the VWers do

I am so mad guys! i'm sorry i didn't end up coming. i was doing work on the 318 on wednesday and i blew all my money by noon. I bought over 700 in parts! i couldn't believe it. either way, i was up till 10 working anyway and I still didn't get it done. but after spending 7bills....30 bones was a little to ritch for my blood :( to bad I didn't see the post about the cops giving away tickets. dang it. i'm pissed.
