The airbag warning light is flashing, could anyone give some insight into a fix for the problem? I know there was some recall to do with the airbags, but as far as i can find mine doesnt fit into the recall. I found an airbag sensor chip for the E31 on ebay and was wondering if this could be the fix.

To add to this thread.. I looked up the recall again, and it eluded to a "contact ring" snapping, therefore tripping the airbag warning light. I was thinking that this might be the problem... Has anybody else had this problem?? Could anybody give some insight or info. Thanks
