I ordered a set of black e46 sedan grills from jlevisw.com and they arrived today. They most definitely will not fit my 2004 325i. They are about 2" too narrow. I'm definitely sending them back, but what do you think they sent me?

So far I'm having terrible luck trying to upgrade my car... first the K&N CAI won't fit my model (because of M56 engine), and now this. I hope there is nothing wrong with the clear signals from BavAuto that I have on the way.

BTW, the Dinan intake for the 330i will fit the 325i w/M56 engine, according to Tischer. Anyone want to buy a never used K&N CAI for cheap? I would have used it but it won't fit my car.

I will do that if no one wants them. Just trying to save myself some hassle, and someone else a few bucks.

I also have an M56 Engine. K&N CAI will not fit. After calling AFE they told me the M56 engine uses the same CAI as a 330. Also called Dinan for software upgrades and they make nothing. Light kits are the same front and rear as I have replaces them.

Is the M56 that rare? I also have an M56 and I just assumed it was standard with the 2k4 325i.

The M56 engine is a Super Ultra Low Emmision Engine sold In California and New York Seems to be rare. Not much on the boards about it. I live in Ohio and even the BMW dealer was not up on this

I assumed that too until I ordered things and found they did not fit. My first was the K&N CAI, and when I called them in California they did not have an answer.
