Hi all,

I just finished refurbishing a set of RS021-022.
The RS021 are 8x16, offset 11mm
The RS022 are 9x16, offset 24mm

Several pictures can be found here:
www.wokke.de/rims/stock/RS021-022/page_01.htm (http://www.wokke.de/rims/stock/RS021-022/page_01.htm)

Price is US$1.799,- plus US$189,- for shipping to any US location.
Takes roughly two weeks for them to arrive.

Well - if they were shiny, I'd buy them....

:D

Wow - those look really nice. I'm impressed with your work! You might want to post them on the E24 board over at Roadfly (maybe with a slightly smaller picture...:))

You mean fully polished? Possible but US$125 extra per rim and certainly a PITA to keep them shiny.
Thanks for the advice regarding the E24 roadfly forum.

Wolf - my apologies. It was a little joke. You did an amazing job on these wheels.

Better now? :)

Perfect. The other place you might consider is BigCoupe.com, which also has a number of people from Europe. Good luck with them!! They are beautiful!

Wolf Back in 1984 when I first purchased my Weds wheels that are still on my son's 80 Euro, I had a problem with the clear coat. Weds took them back and polished the rims after removing the clear coat. Long story short, I never had a problem keeping them bright. It may have something to do with the alloy in the rims, but in the long run, I never regretted polishing the rims in lieu of clear coating. Here is a picture of the wheels after more than 23 years on the car.

Thanks a lot.
To be honest I wouldn't even be sad if they don't sell because I'm currently finalizing the restoration of my 2nd E24 (635CSi-Euro) and haven't decided on the wheels yet. Too many to choose from like 17" Schnitzer 1-piece as well as 3-piece staggered, 17" ALPINA staggered, 17" RH Schnitzer design 1-piece staggered....
I know, nice problem to have :):)

If I'd be living in a sunshine state like you I might judge differently :)
But here in Germany the only difference between winter & summer is the temperature of the rain and it's a bit different I'm afraid. All my polished rims on my cars are clear coated because I hate polishing around little bolts. I did it once on a set of 3-piece Schnitzer which I had on my E46 coupe as an interim solution before I sold them. Took me over 2 hours to get them back into top shiny condition. Definitely not a job for me :mad

I registered with BigCoupe.com, but the Admin isn't activating my account. Do they only do it once a month or something like that?

Wolf, Big Coupe.com is a labor of love administered by Brian, Sometimes he is slow to activate accounts due to pressing busisness. You might try to contact him at postmaster@bigcoupe.com or bfons@Bigcoupe.com
