can somebody please exmplain to me how to do it in photoshop? or point me in teh way of a decent tutorial? my searches have returned nothing.

i would say change the cars color to grey, desaturate, then lower the cars brightness, saturation. its tough to do with a shiny car/lots of reflections without airbrushing, etc.

easiest way is to desaturate then play with the contrast
