hey everyone,
just got a BMW X5, and am wondering if anyone knows any sites where i can view some pictures of modified X5's. i have searched everywhere. also i am thinking about lowering it and adding some nice rims, whats everyones thoughts/experiences/opinions on this?

Hi I havent seen one yet but would like to find out if anyone has tried converting an x5 with twin axle air suspension to a standard coil spring suspension.We in Kenya are really having problems with those gas springs exploding because of the nature of our roads etc.
I have been approached by several clients who are willing to pay whatever it takes to make the change.
basically I know it will involve purchasing coil springs for the rear as well as front shocks and coil springs as well as top mountings.I dont think theres much left apart from the message on the cluster that will keep on reminding you that the self-level suspension is inactive.Whether it will affect the other systems on the car like ABS/ASC/DSC I am yet to find out.
As I said I am really hoping to get someone who has managed to do this modification so that we can exchange some notes.
