View Full Version : Looking for X5 4.8 Lease #'s
Bimmerext 09-30-2007, 12:14 PM I'm in the market for either an 07' or 08' X5 with pretty much loaded equipment - Satallite, NAV, Sport, Premium, Premium Sound, IPod, Cold, etc. etc.
$0 down with inceptions.
Does anyone have #'s to share?
I'm located in New York state and am willing to travel 500-700 miles for pick up from a dealer.
Thanks in advance.
djminkin 10-02-2007, 08:40 AM 1100 tax in seems to be the number. I priced it all over, and couldnt find better, but this was about 2-3 months ago when the truck just came out. Navigation would add a little more.
Bimmerext 10-02-2007, 02:34 PM Thanks.
I've recieved a quote of $1095 with only inceptions of $1300 about 2 weeks ago. Seems like the price is holding. The money factor must be high, which is surprising, especially since rates just went down 1/2 pt.
My friend leased a loaded 4.4 last year and is only paying $800, with $0 down. Could the vehicle have went up that much?
djminkin 10-02-2007, 05:03 PM Yes it did go up. My last X5 same thing, around 760. The new one is close to 70 grand, but it is a different truck, much improved in my opinion. I think part of the problem too is I bought a car in july that was an 07, so that has to knock the residual a bit as well, but I dont think these things are going to be under a grand ever. If inception includes your first payment, thats about right.
Bimmerext 10-02-2007, 05:44 PM $350/ mth jump in price, that's insane. Not worth the jump in price IMHO. I understand it's improved....increased HP and other gadgets, but no car manufacturer comes out with a new and improved model and gets a 40% premium for basically the same vehicle, especially when money is about the same price, or possible even cheaper. This car is essentially $8-10K more expensive. That doesn't translate to $350 more money on a payment.
BMW needs to adjust their thinking and money factor. This truck shouldn't price over $900/ mth.
djminkin 10-02-2007, 07:44 PM well then you have to wait, or get something else. Im sure in a year from now it will be a little less, but the trucks are all being ordered and off the lot right away down here. Porsche cayenne S is more money, range rover more money, mercedes is piece of crap, my wife has it, so they are all priced right around the same money. The natural transgression of all cars is up higher and higher. Who would have thought a M3 would cost 70K:eyecrazy Thats what they will cost when they hit showrooms in a few months. For your info I looked at the 550 sport and that car was really nice, but leased about 10 bucks cheaper a month, so these cars are going crazy.
