Few friends and I took our cars up to Atco racetrack for a night of racing. $15 to get in for as many runs as you want...not a bad deal.

I have a stock 1995 740i.

Anyway thought i'd share my best time
Ran a 16.009 with a .050 reaction time at 90.4mph.

Also, i had a ton of stuff in my car not expecting to race it that night. The weight of my car including me was around 5300 pounds.

Wow I thought my car was heavy at 4500 pounds with only me in it. But that is a good time for a 7. Then just stop and imagine if you ran a ten second 1/4 mile, what type of power that would require!:devillook

5300lbs? Were you carrying a Honda Civic on your roof??? Wow...

My car (740i Sport) used to weigh around 4300lbs, which I thought was quiet a bit.

According to Road&Track my car was capable of 14.6s 1/4mi. When new, of course.

I never ran 1/4 mi, but I was doing some 5-60mph runs and the best time I was ableto achieve was 6.6s. Which corelated well with R&T's 0-60 time of 6.1s.
