I am getting ready to put on a set of 22" rims on my 2006 750li.

On the 2004 745li I had before, I put 22's on it and I always had to using the navigation knob to turn off the system warning of a flat tire.

How can I avoid having to do the same thing with the 750?

Do I have to use sensors in the new wheels?

Also are the sensors for the tire pressure in the wheels or wheel well?

Thanks,
J

I think the sensor is in the valve stem of the tire.

Plik is correct. The sensor is incorporated into the valve stem of the tire/wheel. If you do not want to deal with this error every time you start the car you will need to have compatible sensors placed in your new tires/wheels and the car's computer calibrated to the new optimum air pressure.

Do you have a 2007 or 2006 750Li? Your post says 2007 but your profile says 2006.

the car's computer calibrated to the new optimum air pressure.

Is this something the dealer can do?

I think you do it yourself... check your manual.
