No more VTAKKKKK (well I need to sell it still). Picking up 72 2002tii with 81xxx original miles from the original owner. Rephrase that. Doby is going to help me pick it up with the trailer he uses for his race cars!
It has been packed away for close to a decade... Hasn't run in a long time so I am going to have my work cut out for me.

Pat, whatever you do, do NOT clean the engine or the engine bay yet. Let's get it running before you clean the dirt out of the cracks in the vac hoses...

Doesn't have the normal trunk lip rust :dunno I can't see the other side though. What kind of condition is the body in?
Could be a fun project!

A little surface rust thats it. Rear shock towers are in perfect shape. It wasn't his daily driver, so it didnt see the snow and salt. He had an old fiver for the daily duties, and used the 2002 and a 3.0cs for weekend duty.
Interior needs some serious help along with a passenger window.
I'm selling the other car so I will have funds to put into it.

Hopefully full resto.. over time. Just looking to get her on the road and have something fun to drive instead of the Sable to start out!!
No John sticking with the M10! Course we could turbo the M42... Nah..
Funny story on how I found it. The guy is a family friend and I mentioned a year ago that I loved those cars. He mentioned he had one.. Just sitting around. It has taken me a year to convince him to let it go. He said he will never restore it (he is in his mid 60's and has some health issues), and his son would just part it out, so he wanted to see it go to a good home. Paid practically nothing for it. But remember this car hasn't started in a long time. Might take some serious $ to get it going again.
Was a true found it in a barn story though. It has been in a climate controlled storage unit forever. The lock rusted over so he had to cut the bolt to get into the storage unit. Just getting rid of the storage unit will save him a boat load I'm thinking.
