NORTHEAST 8er SPRINGFEST

For those who go without their 8 all winter (and it’s been a looooong one this year) as well as those who don't, spring is a great time to get out and the 8 is a great reason to get together.

This is a call for those interested in meeting in the May/June timeframe somewhere in equal distance to the majority.
Here's a chance to meet those who have helped us through out the year as well as those we've argued with...what better than to tip a few with the owners of one of the most timeless BMW's of all and enjoy a….two way conversation !

May isn’t that far off and we don’t know at this point just how much more than a casual meeting this will be. Gathering sponsor support, subsidizing meals, tech sessions, etc, etc, may be too ambitious to pull off in this timeframe, however let’s gauge the interest level by hearing from you first.

For those interested, email me at the email address below. Once we gauge the interest level, we'll have a better idea if this is doable and then decide on the venue and enlist a member or two in that area to assist with lodging, activities, etc. Here's what we'll need to know:

- How many in your party ?
- What May/June dates are good for you ?
- What May/June dates absolutely bad for you ?
- Where you will be driving from ?
- Which 8 series do you have ?

Here is a link to the most recent update on this upcoming event, as posted on the Roadfly.org 8 series message board.

Here's what you've been waiting for - SpringFest details.

Northeast 8er SpringFest 2003 official Web Site (http://theimaginarium.org/northeast_8er_springfest/)

Location and dates are set. A few other details are still being pursued and will be posted on this web site as they come in. The most important part now is for you to call the hotel and register.

Aside from the hotel costs, there will also be a charge for the dinner/drinks and a nice SpringFest golf shirt. Stay tuned to the web site for details on this.

Just in: Otto's BMW in West Chester, PA has agreed to help sponsor the SpringFest and may even bring a few new BMW's and a Mini. Watch the web site for updates on this.
