Hi, I have an 82 320i, 5 speed. Am trying to remove the back rest part of the back seat. Already got the seat (butt rest part) out... a no brainer. Where are the bolts?

Hi,

There are two or three screws that hold in the bottom part of the backrest. If you have the bottom part of the seat out you should be able to see these.

From there you push the backrest part of the seat straight up and it should remove from the two hooks or brackets holding in place at the top. It's sometimes easier to unloop the seat belts from the backrest first.
