Hello Ladies and Gents,

I'm a n00b on these forums. But I currently own a 2006 VW GTI. I'm seriously considering to trade in my car for a pre-owned X3. I'm the type of guy that loves to customized vehicles. Mildly with class of course. In fact with my GTI I dont have any exterior mods, everything was "power adders". But now that my daughter is getting bigger I need a family car. I rarely see any modded X3's, online nor in person. Can you guys post some pics of some modified X3's? I'd really appreciate it! Also is there anything I should be aware of while shopping for my future X3? Known issues, rattles, etc...

Welcome to the forum...it's not that nobody helps the n00bs, it more that there is not much to say about modding the X3. Most of them are purchased for exactly the reason you are purchasing one--it's a good family vehicle. There just are not as many mods available for it.

If you want something with more mod potential, there is a little more available for the X5, and LOTS available for the Cayenne/Touareg. I've owned both X5 and Cayenne, and IMHO, the Cayenne is the pick of the litter...(see sig for a GREAT deal on a Cayenne)
