Was this an option?

If I don't have it, can I get it?

If so, how hard and how expensive?

Thanks, Steve

^^^ What a dick!!!!

It was an OE option. You can get it. Not hard to obtain... ~$500 for the 8pc kit. Give Mel at Abrahams (http://www.abrahamsmotorsport.com/e34.htm)a call..

i just painted mine with some etch primer and satin black paint. looks identical to the real thing.

i didn't find it that hard putting it back on. i bought all new clips so it went on easy

That sound like a pretty nice idea! Do you have some pics of how it turned out?

I like the shadowline with modern sporty wheels

But I think I like chrome with Style 5's for that classic BMW look

Hmmmmm, I will have to ponder on this a while. . . .

Thx! :)

might as well paint it. i'm doing that to mine and i'm still trying to figure out how to remove the trim piece that the shadowline usually sits.

this is the only pic i have really that shows the trim but if you're really keen on giving it a go then i can take more for you. i have an E30 325is with shadowline trim and honestly mine looks identical to it.

preparation is the most important part if you want it to look right and last.

OK, E34N, you had to confuse me didn't you! :confused

I thought I had it figured out and then you show me your car - the Oxford green, the Style 5s and the shadowline trim all just "work" together very very well - I am impressed. :wavey
