1997 750iL Sport/Lux packages *not protection package*

This is a rare, highly sought after, top of the line BMW!
Black 750 iL
Tan leather interior
Automatic
138,000 miles
V12 engine
Long wheelbase for limo-like rear seat
GPS/TV
front/rear park distance control
power front seats
power rear seats
power rear sunshade
///M parallel wheels (new tires)
adjustable suspension
xenon headlights
This was the flagship bmw, every option you could get.

There is a vaccuum leak somewhere that randomly sets on the check engine light, other than some minor lower panel scratches and normal chips and dings, it is mint!

$11,500 is a fair price- You can't get MORE car for this price.

Real protection package includes rear windows that dont roll down or partially roll down, run flat tires and many other things. Vin#'s are not supposed to be visible from the outside. Armored bimmer weighs ~450-500lbs more. Often these cars are custom made.
I have no idea what this car has.... Do you know who was the original owner of this 7?

here is discussion on BMW 7-series protection packages for those who are interested: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-115965.html
and here :

check this out: ".. Standard underbody protection prevents grenade fragments from entering the passenger cell. Its effectiveness has been verified independently with hand grenades detonated simultaneously below the driver’s seat and the rear right seat .."

I think this just has the protective glass that was standard on the V12s.

so then this is not a protection package BMW. the dual pane windows are for noise reduction, not stopping bullets!
