A car I recently purchased has a lot of the rust protection grease in some of the areas. Its actually a rust color, and against the light color paint it looks horrible. Its a thick waxy type substance, and just a towel and rubbing it wont remove it that well. Is anyone familiar with it, and the best way of removing it? The car stays garaged and there is no exposed metal, so Im clueless as to why the previous owner smeared this crap all over the car?
