I picked up some BMW Hard Wax at the dealer today, I was curious. It claimed to have nano-technology, it was perhaps a rip off at $26.00, but I wanted to try it out. WOW. I put it on this afternoon, let it sit for several hours and just took it off.

It had a unique, medicinal smell to it, went on and seemed to set or dry quickly, very quickly.

I buffed it off very easily and I am extremely impressed at what it left behind, a stunning shine. Not just shine, but a visible layer of protection and the silky smooth feel to the hand.

Obviously I cannot attest to longevity, I'll post updates down the road. Has anyone else used this product?

No, it was this (first time I ever saw it)

"Utilising high-performance sealants, your purchase involves a Dealership-applied BMW Hard Wax to the exterior paintwork. As a result, exterior surface resilience and water repellence is increased by over 300%. And the long-standing protection that BMW Seal & Protect provides simultaneously has a regenerating effect on the paintwork, for a lasting shine."

That reads as if the dealership application is included in your purchase price...? but you can't get the dealership to even say "HI" for $26

I have beem tempted to try that for a while now... I just could not justify the $26 bucks when I have so many other products that are satisfying... I guess it cannot hurt.

I took it to mean the purchase of the CAR, not the wax. As in, if you buy a new BMW, this is the wax that they use for the detailing job that they do before the customer takes delivery. Not sure, but it makes sense, anyway.

Anyone try this yet? I'm looking for others to try it out!

It sets/dries so quickly, I am very curious to know who really makes it and what it really contains.
