I bought a used (obviously) e36 spoiler from this guy. It was explained to me as in great condition except for a cracked brake light cover(leds still work). Lets just say the whole transaction was a nightmare. When i got it had quite a few scratches. I was mad because I paid for something thats in "great" condition, but not too mad because i would need to paint it from black to boston green anyway. I was wondering if anyone new how much a new brake light would cost, because you cant just replace the lens cover right? The spoiler, minus some scratches, is in good condition no chips or cracks and the edges are fine. I didnt recieve any mounting hardware but I know a mounting kit from the dealer is like 16 bucks. Anyone know of a estimate price to have it painted? Long stroy short as for why this thread is in this section is I placed in on my trunk and im not really sure I like the look as much as I thought i would. I might be interested in selling if I get a decent offer. The only markings i can make out on the bottom (hard to see due to residue from rubber and glue) are '92 97 M3 F/S' and 'DR 77' centered below that. These marking are on the passenger side (if you're standing behind the car) on the bottom between the two bolt holes . If anyone can help or is maybe interested let me know. Thanks Pm or reply
