Wassup everyone i'm also new to the forums and i'm also new to the BMW "Crew". I have made my first in a lifetime BMW purchase on 9/11/2007 and i am now the very proud owner of a 1995 E36 M3. I hope to have a lot of years of fun driving with this car. But on the 10th day of me owning this fabulous machine i have already come across a $500 snag. The small hose that runs from the expansion tank across the top of the radiator under the fan shroud fell down and hit my fan and 6 blades broke off of the fan and 2 of the blades went right thru my radiator. So yeah, new hose, new fan, and new radiator. I read here on the forum about the fan delete mod, but i'm not brave enough to try that one yet living down here in "hot as hell" south florida. Instead i cut two small holes on the top of the fan shroud and ran the hose over the shroud and since i bought the fan brand new from BMW i dont think i have to worry about it giving me any trouble for a little while. But i'm pretty sure i'm gonna be keeping this car so i'll be popping up all over this forum with lots of questions and some ideas for you veterans out there. Hopefully you guys and gals are a lot friendlier than the people on the honda forums. Oh and i almost forgot, my name is Bassel and i'm looking forward to meeting and hanging out with a lot of you and your cars. In closing, i must say it feels really good to finally belong to such a prestigious group.
