Price Dropped ---> $31,200
New Pictures in post #28
Also, if you are interested in the car at all please PM me with an offer
Most of you guys know my current dilemma from this thread:
http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=829701
Well the part out seems like it is going well and I have had a lot of interest in everything that I listed in that thread. Not real bits yet, except on the LTW Splitter. On the other side of things, I have received a lot of PMs about selling the entire car. After thinking it over, this seems like a feasible option. I doubt I will ever turn the car back into what is it now, so why keep it? In reality, it would probably be too painful. :(
I am also not going to be leary of listing the price where I think it should be. I have done a cost and profit anaylsis and figured out what it will take to make it a better option to sell the car as it is. I did not include all my mods, only the major ones. I also priced them at values that I have already been offered. In other words, I am not interested in losing too much money by selling the car 'as is'. If there is no market, I will simply part it out. It would also be nice to save myself the headache of all the labor involved too.
On the purpose of the thread:
The car is a 1999 E36 M3. I bought it in June of 2003 with 43,000 miles on it. It currently has 85,000 miles on the chassis. The car has always been very very well maintained and has been garage kept for the past two years. All fluids have been changed regularly (coolant yearly and oil every 3k). All common problems are fixed, such as PS leaks, RSM failure, RTABS, etc. Maintenance is not reallly an issue one would have to worry about on this car. If it can be replaced, it has. The head is also freshly rebuilt with new seals and guides. The VANOS has been recently replaced. ALL sensors have been replaced within the last 2000 miles (Cam position, crank, O2, knocks, etc).
The motor has always been very strong and I have been through the full spectrum of mods with it. When the car was NA it made 265 WHP and 245 WTRQ.

In August of last year it became a ES TS M3. At that time it had Schricks cams and AA headers, track pipe, and Gen III. It made 360 WHP and 295 WTRQ. After lots and lots of work it stands where it does today (actually made 409 and 338 on a different run):

It was the first in the nation at this power level. Now there is one more (agu825), but I built that car also. The car's power delivery is UNREAL. It is a complete beast. The only car I have ever had pull on me was Rafa's Turbo S52. He was on race gas at the time and making over 450 WTRQ. When on a base tune and pump gas, I have pulled on him. There are several people to attest to the ability and power of the car and if anyone wants a reference, just PM me. I installed the same kit on 'agu825' or Art's car and he would also be a good reference. Either way, this car easily competes with Porsche TTs, Z06s, M5s, ect. It very easy to drive and a complete blast. There is traction in every gear except 1st due to the 'table top' torque curve (super linear). At the same time, it pulls HARD in any gear. When driving stock M3s in first, it really feels like my 3rd gear. It is a real blast everytime I get in the car. Enough of my hoop-la, I think other people will post and reaffirm what i have said.

I'm going to wash her up and get some more pictures today or tomorrow, but I will post some more below just as reference. Most are older and do not show all current mods.
The only negatives to the car:
-There is a very small dent in the roof. It can easily be pulled though.
-No keyless entry
-No cruse control
This car has made quite a reputation for itself around the forums and community and it truely pains me to sell it. At the same time, it is the logical thing to do right now. Like I said above, I am only interested in selling the car if I can make around the same amount as I would parting it out. I am obviously open to offers, but will hassle through the labor of parting it out to get the money I think it is worth. I believe the price I have come up with is fair and a reflection of what I would get if I were to part it out and then sell the stock car (that is not including the fact that there no such thing as a TS kit as what I valued this one at, you cannot get what this one provides for 10k anywhere). Not only that, but this car carries a reputation and a history of being a 'first' in many ways
Bottom line, I am asking:
$31,200 OBO
I will also provide $300 to someone that provide me with a buyer
