Hi all,
I ordered my 2008 335i coupe on July 27 and have been waiting since. I looked at the status and it's enroute from Germany. (see signature)
I got a deal for $1,750 off MSRP and they'll throw in floor matts basically by making dealerships around NJ outbid each other through the online service department.
The dealership is in NJ.
Can anyone tell me how much longer it usually takes from there?
Also, I didn't know what additional accessories were added to the 2008 models. I don't really know how the 19" rims look in person, but do you guys think it's worth upgrading to?

That sounds like a good deal to me, it's a few hundred better than the deal that I am being offered but I was able to get my dealer to throw in the floor mats as well as tint my windows so it sounds like we both got very similar deals.
The 19s' are not available AT ALL. At least not for the entire 2008 model year.
Sorry, I have no idea how long it takes for your car to arrive. What I have always heard is 8-10 weeks but I'm still new to BMW.

The 19 inch wheels are available. I was told to get them by my sales guy on my 2008 335 coupe. They are on BMWUSA website also.

The memo went out to all USA BMW dealerships this week: The style 230 will NOT be available for the 2008 vehicles. The website has since been updated to reflect delayed availability. If your salesguy can get them for you aftermarket then I'm sure that's a suitable alternative but if you try to order it in based on the website you may be disappointed. I hope I am wrong and you are able to get the wheels you want.

yah i'll go check with the dealer to see what ship it's on. I was told beginning of october or earlier, but when I found out it was enroute, i got excited.
i'm hoping they have the oil cooler installed, even if i did get an automatic. they promised they'd install one for free if it was missing.
i think the 19's would look hot, but then again the roads by my area aren't the smoothest since it snows here and once a year the road gets crapped on.
