They got those at a bunch of gas stations if those are the ones your thinking of. I no the exxon across from bestbuy in mt vernon has the hose u just rinse your car with.

go up to mount maya car wash in brewster... great place. worth the trip.

Mt.Vernon behind the old Caldor site, across the bridge on the left is a coin car wash. You can also go to Larchmont for a hand car wash, $18, inside and out(take 5th avenue past NR city park and detail center is on the left behind the pet food store.
