My 2004 convertible M3 suddenly stop opening hood this morning.
It worked yesterday night.
What I found is that there is thin white plastic strip (.5 inch width) is dangling from the back window top edge. If I pull, it comes out more so I stopped pulling. Other than that I do not see any weird thing.
Any thought/help?
Does the warranty covers this?

Not sure what you mean by the back window, but you should still be fully covered under warranty. You are under 50K miles right? Anyways taking to Sterling BMW and let them have a look.

Did you check to make sure that the cover containter handle in the trunk was fully open? (I'm not describing it well, its the thingy that you can shift up to get more room in the trunk while the top is up)
