Cassette with motor, switch, crossbar etc.. in working order, no broken mechanical rails.

Schwarz II roof panel.

I also have inner liner panel but it's missing its own rails. (used to slide freely)

The thing is I only have the panel right now. The rest of the stuff is at my friend's house and I won't have it home by tomorow. Especially with my car now working right now ugh.

Look in the E36 stickies for a guide. The outer panel can be removed from the top or from the bottom. To remove from the top, first tilt the roof and remove the rear two torx screws, then push it up and remove the front ones.

To remove the whole cassette, take down the headliner and then you'll see how to get the cassette out. It's easy, but tedious. And you need a helper. I did it by myself, but it'll be much easier if you borrow someone else for like 5 minutes.
