Hey guys I'm organizing a caravan to Fort Lee, NJ from Boston, MA along 95S for saturday (we have a 5 series meet there) and I would like two good locations that are easily accesible from both directions on 95 in CT.

By this I mean rest areas or such that aren't far off the highway. They have to be exits not Rest Stops on the highway because I need people to be able to meet coming from either direction.

Right now we are scheduled to leave Dedham, MA at 7, arrive at the visitor center in RI (right before CT), at 8, and then from there I don't know exit numbers.

I need two exits, one about mid CT on 95S and the other near the NYC border. Thanks in advance for any good tips. I want to make this a four stop caravan so that we can meet people along the way.

If your just looking for a place to meet up, go past exit 62 on 95S. there's a McDonald's on both sides of the highway. Anyone that's gotta go up 95N.to meet you, can easily get off and back on the highway southbound. It's in a town called Madison, it's as close to the middle of the state as you can get. If you need an exit to meet up at, take exit 63 in Clinton. Use the Clinton Crossings Outlet stores as the place to meet at. Take a left off the ramp, you will see the mall on your left across from the Morgan High School. Anyone coming up 95N. will take exit 63, take left off ramp going over the highway and looking to the left for the mall, can't miss it. There's a Shell gas station right off the highway(coming from south bound instead of taking left to mall, take right off ramp go over highway Shell on left, again can't miss it or get lost) in case anyone needed gas or food. Not sure of any near the NY border, sorry.

Sounds like you got it setup. But just for future reference, I find the CT DOT's searchable database of commuter parking lots really useful for setting up meets with people: http://www.ct.gov/dot/cwp/view.asp?Q=259406&a=1390. Each parking lot has a detailed PDF access map. In addition, there is a cool interactive search feature that allows you to look for parking lots along specific routes.
