View Full Version : Autoenginuity Tips?

Anybody have any luck getting their Autoenginuity product to give real-time readout on car data? It seems my refresh rate is set to some kind of interval, rather than real time when I peer at the live data.

Also, has anybody gotten the O2 window to work? I can get LTFT and STFT in the live data window, but the O2 window has never done squat.

Finally, anybody ever use that "dyno" that's built in? I was thwarted by all of the data entry that's required for setup. Some day I will meature the circumfrence of my tires and figure out the gear ratios or whatever. For those who have used the dyno, was it accurate compared to a real dyno?

Thanks,

JO

I was successful at getting mine to display live data, including the O2 sensors. I've got an E36 M3 and didn't do anything special. Make sure you have their latest version of the software, you may have some bugs.

im pretty sure u can change the refresh rate individually for each output. look around in the software, i could have sworn i have messed with it before. 02 readouts work just fine for me.

The only time I've seen it not not display the O2's is when it connects as non-OBD type. Otherwise, no issues with O2's or real time data.

John,

I haven't used mine in years, but I seem to remember it being live data. I did enter in all the info for the dyno, but it never seemed to worked well for me. If you'd liek to try here are some figures for you.
1st - 4.20
2nd - 2.49
3rd - 1.66
4th - 1.24
5th - 1.00

And as for your tires. Most manufacturers will have the diameters and circumferences on their sites.
