This is my first post, i'm kind of excited,

I have a 2006 325i it has appox 19000 miles and it has the Brid turenza and the noise is horrible, i was planning to change the tires and I was shopping at TIRE RACK and the continentals were appox 110 each plus shipping and handling, and according to another forum they said BMW has aprogram in which they would pay for 2 tires and we have to pay for 2, that is i would be paying appox 600 for all 4 with rotation.
When i'm changing these i have one more question related to the wheels, how much would be to get let me say 19's and get runflats for them and would appritiate it if you could give some advise on which ones are better (i have seldom knolwledge on these) also what should i do with the original wheels can i sell them ??????
Any help would be appritiated.

I have a 2007 328xi with Conti RFT and I can tell you that I have no issue with them for noise or handling. Of course, my driving is a lot more sedate than it was 25 years ago. I have only had my car for a week and been on these forums for a few days but I wonder if the Contis have solved the problem of the RFTs and noise?

If you want to build a tire and wheel package, I see two ways: 1. Tire Rack will allow you to do that and you can call them and see if they have any take-offs in the size you want. 2. you can price out 19" wheels independently, eBay, BMW, or other brands, and then buy the tires you want.

I see original bmw wheels at craigslist.com all the time. If you want to sell your wheels you can go there or eBay. By searching eBay you can get an idea of the price of used OEM wheels.

Thanks for the valuable information.
Based on your reply and also reviews on Tire Rack, the Conti have better reviews than the Brid,
I'm trying to find the 19 '' wheels, and i need to find if they have RFT's for the 19''s because i dont want to carry a spare in the trunk(especially with the small storage space) will keep you posted on my search.

Call Kyle at the Tire Rack at ext 663. He has helped me and he seems to have great knowledge of BMW's.

PLEASE READ AND ACT IMMEDIATELY:
I was told,by my BMW dealer, that if the customer complains about the Bridgestones they will replace them using formula below:

if you have less tha 10,000 miles BMW will cover the replacement at 100%, 10k to 20K you have to pay 50%, >than 20K you pay 100%. I had mine replaced two weeks ago at 100%, I was at 9,850 miles.

Can you tell me if they are all models of the Bridgestone tires or just the non-sport package units? Thanks.

From what I understand, this only applies to the All season Turanza, which I believe come standard on the xi models, so the OP is probably in luck.

Not sure, I have a 328xi with sport package, it had the all season Turanzas. I don't think thsi progrma was Turanza type sepcific, I believe it covered any Turanza RFTs tire? The new Contis are EXCELLENT, so smooth and quiet

Talk to Neal at the tire rack. He,s sold me at least 8 sets of tires and winter tire wheel packages over the last 6 or 7 years.Every tire he,s recommended to me were exactly as he said they would be in terms of ride, handling, dry and wet traction, etc. Neal knows his stuff.
