you wont believe what happened....my passenger side motor mount was completely disconected and all the bolts were missing except for one that was broken into the block of the motor.. thats why my car has been vibrating...i took my car to the dealer several times before and they said it was just vibrating from my supersprint cat back...then they tried to void my warranty they said the motor mount bolts vibrated their way out cuz the drone from the exhaust...i got on the phone with BMWNA and in the middle of the conversation on the phone with them the manager comes up to me and tells me dont worry well take care of it....my question is what really caused the bolts to come out like that

They were probably under torqued during assembly. How many miles does your car have? It's amazing what a call to the man will accomplish. I love how dealers pass the blame so easily!

I do not know how these bolts attached. If they exposed outside, then you could hit something and get them cut. If it happened, then it is a sign of a bad design. Actually it is quite scary. I'm glad that I have only short lease for my Z.

at least BMW actually takes the side of it's customers.
